I'll start with a bit about myself. I like genealogy, it's become a hobby for me. I've always been interested in my family's history. I loved to sit with the older ones of the family and listen to the cousins talk about family stories and the ones before us. They made us who we are. I am a "Navy Brat", born to a parents that served our country for life. My father was Senior Chief Petty Officer Glen H Adkins. My mother was a Military Wife, believe me, she also served our Country by keeping up with where ever our home happened to be. In other words, where ever the government sent my Dad. I had only 1 brother, 3 sisters and one more baby sister that had been adopted away from us.
